From the Files of Ms Witte

I am part owner of a tutoring company called Witte Tutoring (www.wittetutoring.com) as well as an elementary school teacher. I am entering my 16th year of teaching. I taught 4th grade, all subjects for 3 years, 5th grade Science/Reading for 5 years, and the past three years I have taught 3rd grade gifted, all subjects. I have received Teacher of the Year twice in my career, and Top 50 Teachers twice in my career. I love my job. I am very passionate about helping kids, and creating lessons that tap into all of the different learning styles. I have taught at title 1 schools, and schools that are very blessed with financially. I have been lucky enough to also teach in a school that taught students through artful learning. I am very big on the use of technology in the classroom and can share many lessons that pertain to those needed for SMARTboard, Edmodo, Animoto, Glogster, etc.

Whatever the kids need that day is my teaching style.
