I have taught in Florida for 16 years (grades K-4).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a blend of whole language and skills. I'm experienced in the workshop model and the gradual release model. I love doing hands-on activities and crafts!

I am a National Board Certified teacher (2007). I was the Teacher of the Year at my school (2014-2015).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with a Bachelors' degree in Primary Education from the University of North Florida in 2000. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have taught all subjects from kindergarten to fourth grade. I am currently the gifted and talented education coordinator at my school. I love teaching and couldn't imagine doing anything else!
