Elements of Art Introduction - SMART NOTEBOOK
SMART Board Notebook that takes students through the elements of art. Each element has an explanation, and a sample mini activity that should take students approx. 10-20 min each. This lesson is a great intro for middle school art courses or for Elementary level as well with more time and guidance.

Character Traits and Motivation SMARTBoard file with Graphic Organizer
This is an introductory lesson on Character Analysis. An interactive graphic organizer included as well as a link to a printable organizer. A story is included for practice, but the organizer is designed to work with an character analysis. An enrichment activity is included with larger printable pieces from the graphic organizer that can be cut out and then attached to construction paper to create their character. This is a Smart Notebook file created from 50 top photos. I used it to stimulate curiosity and wonder in the children. Some of the pictures are very thought provoking others are fun. This was always a quiet activity initially until shared time when the discussions often ran over time.
