Gingerbread House History
You can use this google slide as a mini project to introduce making gingerbread houses. It goes over a brief history, has the students watch a quick video on making a house from scratch start to finish, asks them to tell you the steps and than asks for them to show you a photo for inspiration, since after this my students make a gingerbread house.
