Compound Sentences Activity - Year 2 Sentence Building
This activity comes in a PDF format and helps students understand that compound sentences have two ideas with a FANBOYS in the middle. It can be used in a variety of ways! I cut each strip out and students use a sentence starter, then they place a white FANBOYS next to it, followed by a sentence finisher. They then copy their completed compound sentences into their books. I use it as a literacy rotation station. If you use it any other way feel free to tag me on instagram @mrsstennettsclassroom
