This packet includes everything you need to teach a great cause and effect lesson using the book Old Henry by Joan W. Blos. If you have not read this book, it's a great story about what happens when a neighbor does not take care of his house.
I found it in my school library. If your school does not have it, it's available to order from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc. This lesson was used in a 4th grade class but comes with multiple resources that will allow you to use it in lower or higher

This is a sheet I use with student groups (up to 4 participants) for collaboration of ideas and notes taken from resources used to address a document-based question (DBQ). Students are provided with a designated area on the discussion sheet to attach their Post-It note with notes, ideas, thoughts, etc. that can contribute to writing the group's answer statement for the DBQ.
