This audio recording of one of my favorite books SNOWMEN AT NIGHT by Caralyn and Mark Buehner is read to "Waltz of the Snowflakes" by Tchaikovsky. I have used the entire piece of music by leaving space at the end of the book to ask the question "What do YOU think snowmen do when we are not watching?"

This original singing game is a fun way to assess singing abilities! One student sits in the middle of the circle with eyes covered while the remainder of the class sings and passes Sidney's carrot nose from one student to the next. At the end of the verse, the student in the middle sings "Who has my nose?" (s-m-l-s-m) The student who has the nose sings "I have your nose!"
