Rwandan Genocide Mini-Unit
This is a mini-unit focused on the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. The unit is used in a World History class with 60 minute class periods and typically takes 3-4 class periods to complete. The unit includes guided notes about the history and events of the genocide, a timeline assignment using an internet-based article (which I print out for students), and a viewing of the movie "Hotel Rwanda".
