This unit was designed for students in a CTE program but who also receive English credit. The students are assigned one of the topics a month to then choose from the collection of articles to read and complete one of the forms. It's a good activity for finding the main idea, identifying supporting evidence, sharing what was learned, and then writing about how the information helps in that particular trade. There are about 68 articles (and every time I find a new one I will update this document).

"Hairspray" and "Beauty Shop" Film Questions for Cosmetology
