Both Sides Now - by Joni Mitchell - Song Analysis
Students will analyze the lyrics to Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now," using a colour-coded annotation strategy and discuss their findings with a partner. They will compare two video performances of the song and write a reflection on their interpretation. Thematic focus: "innocence to experience." Estimated time: 1 class period. Students use QR codes (will require a QR Code scanner App).
