This is a comprehensive set of learning skills comments. You look at the learning skill, move down the spreadsheet to the level and choose the one that most reflects the ability of that student. Then you copy that comment and move on to the next learning skill and comment. (Responsibility, Organization, Independent Work, Collaboration, Initiative, Self-Regulation). There are also some next steps and an initial positive comment bank.I am a teacher and have created this over the years. There are m

I wanted a short, simple way to review the past cycle without feeling like I was dragging my kids (or myself) kicking and screaming through a long memory review session.  Here's how you use it. 1) Select which review cycle you want - 12 weeks or 18 weeks. I do 2 weeks at a time (that gives us 12 weeks of review with about 6 weeks off).  If you select the 18 week cycle, you would do 3 weeks at a

This is a great rubric for yearbook advisers. Yearbook can be daunting for newbies and this made quick work of determining the quality of the products produced by staff members. They appreciate knowing what to look for and the adviser appreciates the staff member knowing what to be sure to complete before submitting for review. This also allows peers to review each others work. Peer review allows for much needed communication skills.
