This is a 20 day unit over the novel The Wizard of Oz. It has great potential to become a school wide, cross curricular unit if desired. This unit is complete with essential questions, power points (one original and one from a public web site), original rubrics, handouts, and links to free web sites with activities and graphic organizers. The final "test" is an essay in which students compare and contrast two versions of the movie (they could also compare the novel to the movie).
