Thematic Unit: Comparing and Contrasting using Folktales
This is a comprehensive unit where students will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of folktales by comparing/contrasting 3 different Anansi tales. Anansi stories are derived from West Africa and uses the character of a spider to teach lessons about not behaving poorly.
