World Languages University Requirements Task
This is a project that I created for the first weeks of our World Language 1 sections (any modern language would be able to do this). The directions and example are editable so that you can tweak the rubric or change the language, although there is also a PDF of the example. Participation Rubric
This is an easy-to-use rubric that allows teachers and students to collaborate on creating a participation grade. I take notes in the margins of my lesson plans on who is late, has trouble cooperating, etc. After each class, I go through the participation sheets and check off each student (this takes about one minute).
