Alien Project (Environmental Adaptations, Planetary Conditions)

Star Poster Project (Claim Evidence Reasoning, Stellar Evolution)
This project engages students in inquiry as they research a star and gather evidence to write a C-E-R argument about the star's life stage. Students will ultimately create a poster or slide presentation to showcase their findings and present their arguments. The final products can be presented in a gallery walk or simply submitted to the instructor. This is a great follow-up or summative assessment for lessons on stellar evolution/ life cycles of the stars.
