Description

Forensic Science Vehicle Trace Evidence Lab:  Collection and Microscopic Analysis of Trace Biological Evidence

Objective:  To learn the basic procedure for collection and documentation of forensic evidence.

If you are looking for a fun laboratory investigation that you can complete in the beginning or end of the year, where you can get outside and take your students to search a scene, this lab is for YOU!

This vehicle trace evidence lab allows you to teach the concepts from the CSI unit, so your students can practice finding and collecting evidence. However, it is easy to implement and requires NO set up for you! This is a lot of fun and a great hands-on way to get your students outside to practice processing the crime scene, whether you do at the beginning or end of the year as a review, it is a great activity!
