This is a collection of the roughly 900 daily journals/do-nows/bellringers that I've created in a variety of my classes over the past 10+ years. Roughly half of them are general enough that they could be used in almost any type of classroom while the remaining 50% are geared towards an English classroom. When you purchase this product, you'll get a document that has a link to the Google Folder where all the PowerPoints are (I had to do it this way because TPT has a 200MB limit).

Socratic Seminar Reflection and Scoring Guide

Speech self-reflection guide
This is a simple way for students to think about their own speaking performance. The questions focus their thinking on specifics on both content and technique.
Open-ended questions like, "How do you think you did on your speech" aren't helpful for a student as they give no parameters. Inevitably the answer you'll receive to this question is simply, "pretty bad" or "pretty good". This sheet forces them to address WHAT was "bad" or "good".

This activity was designed to help students who struggle with social pragmatic skills.
