Biography Timeline Graphic Organizer Template
I always tell my students that a biography is the story of a person's life, as though a timeline was put into narrative form. For their upcoming writing project on a historical figure, I plan to have them prewrite by turning their research into a timeline. Informational Essay Writing Rough Draft / Graphic Organizer
This is a guide to help students learning how to write an informative essay navigate putting together a rough draft. The example I used is an assignment where we are reporting on a specific earthquake, tsunami or volcano.The intro and conclusion is broken down into sentences. The body paragraphs (2) have less guidance and more opportunity for the students to put their interesting facts they researched. This also includes a loose guide on how to cite sources properly in the essay.
