This jigsaw activity gets students thinking about the 3 basic models of communication theory: transmission model, transactional model, and constitutive model. The crash course presentation gives students an overview of the 3 models. Then, students work in groups of 3 or 4 with a shared Slides presentation to watch an assigned video clip and identify which model is being exemplified in the video. Students then create an example of their own along with a review question to ask their classmates.
