This is a PowerPoint lesson that shows the students the Binomial Theorem, how to use it to expand binomial expressions, and how to find a special term of a binomial expansion. Pascal's Triangle is also discussed. It was designed to teach Section 6.6 of Prentice Hall's CA Algebra 2 textbook.

First and Second Derivative Tests and Concavity
This is topic 26 in my AP Calculus curriculum. This PowerPoint guides students through how to analyze derivatives so that they can show how the shape of a graph is affected. Students use the first and second derivative tests to find extrema and the concavity test to find inflection points. You may either have students go through the PowerPoint on their own or you may do it as a whole class. It is best used with the corresponding notes that I have created for it.

Polar Graphs
This is the lesson I give after students complete the reading lesson on polar graphs.
This lessons show different forms of polar graphs -- limacon w/loop, limacon w/dent, covex limacon, cardioid, and roses. It discusses characteristics of each graph -- symmetry, direction, determining which type of graph, and shows how to graph each type.

College Algebra Lectures
These notes were used to teach an entire semester of college algebra at Truman State University. They can easily be modified for pacing to use in a dual-credit class at the high school level. The content can also be simplified for use in parts of an algebra two class. The notes include explanations of the key definitions and theorems. Each lesson has many examples to use in the classroom.
