Daily Current Events Activity Worksheet
This is a half page handout to use for keeping track of daily current events. It works great if you show Channel One or CNN Student News each day in your classroom as a daily warmup. Students list the locations of the day's top stories, mark an X on a Robinson Projection Map for each story, and then summarize the stories at the bottom of the page. It gets students thinking about events and also keeps them on task when watching the video.
