These lyrics are all about the gods of Ancient Rome. The lyrics can be performed to many different beats. Just make sure to really emphasize the "Peace" part in the last line. Maybe with a peace gesture/wave. The kids might crack up at the last part, so if you do not like laughter in your class, DO NOT USE THIS SONG. Maybe you can even give it to your kids to perform. WWI RAP: Lose your trench
This song is a parody of the Oscar winning 8-Mile song by Eminem called Lose yourself. It introduces Gavrilo Princip at the sandwich shop right before the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. It than goes into other key events of World War I: Russian Revolution, Trench warfare, Treaty of Versailles. The kids enjoyed it very much!

All you need is this 3 page lyric sheet and your own copy of "under pressure" by Mr. David Bowie. Just sing my words along with an instrumental version to make it work well.
One Word or Two Journey
I found a list of commonly misspelled words that are often mistaken as being one word or two words. As part of my attempt to help students avoid looking foolish in their writing, I taught the list and created quizzes.
While this might not be a specific skill associated with the ACT or other standardized tests, the ability to spell words others often misuse is an important skill.
