In this fun but challenging two weeks instructional unit, your students will research auto loans, insurance, taxes, budgets, and cost comparisons. This real life expose has been well received over the years by my students. We all have a dream job, but have we looked at what is required for that job? In this activity, you'll search real job postings for all the requirements, pay, and details for your dream job!This can be typed into as a PDF, and submitted as part of a job search project. My class loved using this to see what their job actually required.

Computer Component Upgrade Project
This project gives students four different computer builds that are in need of an upgrade. Teachers have the freedom to ask students to complete one or all of the upgrades. This project also allows for collaboration, debate, comparison, and analysis regarding the choice of components and the reasons behind the choices. Rubric and all directions included! Also includes a link to the Google Doc for easy tweaking to fit your classroom!
