Fahrenheit 451 Quiz Part Two ("The Sieve and the Sand")
I searched high and low for a basic, close reading test that would simply show me whether students did their outside-of-class reading of FAHRENHEIT 451, and I found that none existed that met my needs (detailed + easy to grade). This template has been designed so you can completely customize your report. I specifically tried to design it to help decrease the amount of time that these reports take write up. I have made it as gender neutral as possible, as well as bolded all the areas where you need to input the examinee's name. Narrative Revising and Editing Checklist (Self and Peer)
This checklist is used after students have written narrative stories. They will go through their stories with the checklist independently first. Then they will have a classmate use the same checklist to read their story. At the end, the peer can leave comments with advice and feedback. This has been helpful in building independence during writing, rather than having a line waiting for me to read their stories!
