Every year during the winter my students and I love to make paper quilts. There is so much American history in the topic of quilting. This activity is fun for students of any age as they create quilt blocks from a template. The SMART Board activity is linked to literature, math and social studies. Common Core Standards for 3rd grade are included along with step by step instructions and examples. Finally there is an interactive quilt page where students can create their own quilt.

Three fun songs to get your students to master all 3 Native American Tribe.
Powhatan, Pueblo, and Lakota
Student will be actively engaged singing these sons. ALL STUDENTS will love these songs. There are also two review games included in the last two slide.
Students will comment to you, that they can't get the song out of their heads. Music is included (pardon my singing) Some of the songs are my actual voice without music. I can add the music to those slides if you wish.
