Scott Joplin; The King of Ragtime - SMARTBOARD/NOTEBOOK EDITION

This Smart Notebook lesson (appropriate for elementary music students in grades 3 and up) introduces students to the famous African-American composer Scott Joplin, one of the most popular composer of the Ragtime era. Included in this unit of study, you will find colorful graphics/clip-art, historical background information and pictures on topics like player pianos, cakewalks, etc., short video/audio examples of themes being discussed within the lesson, attached audio examples of colorful listening maps included within the lesson - specifically "The Entertainer" & "The Maple Leaf Rag," activities to check understanding, and SO MUCH more!!!
