This lesson includes everything you need to teach dance students what exactly lyrical, modern, and contemporary dance is, and the similarities/differences between the three styles. The student handout has questions that follow the flow of the Prezi presentation and the presentation includes pictures and videos to further support your lesson. Once you are done with the Prezi, students fill out the venn diagram in groups or independently.

This is a Prezi that goes through a brief introduction to the History of the Spanish Language. It works wonderfully at the beginning of Spanish 1, for students to see a historical and geographical context to the language. Dance Elements Prezi
Slides introduce purposes for dance and the 3 most important elements (space, time, force). YouTube videos are embedded. Great way to introduce dance content without boring your students! This is much like PowerPoint, but more entertaining, in my opinion. So many opportunities for students to discuss and for the teacher to pull in other dance elements as well. (There are more slides than this, but I only included 2 pics).
