Michael Alexander Kirkwood Halliday (often M.A.K. Halliday; 13 April 1925 – 15 April 2018) was an English-born linquist. He developed the internationally influential systemic functional linquistic model of language. His grammatical works go by the name of Systemic Functional Grammer (SFG). Halliday described himself as a generalist, meaning that he has tried "to look at language from every possible vantage point", and has described his work as "wander[ing] the highways and byways of language". Preschool classrooms should encourage children to learn through interactive play and provide them with a variety of hands-on learning activities. This is an awesome bundle of behavior management visuals. Great for kids receiving special education services or who need constant visual reminders to stay on task. My personal recommendation is to print these out as is, cut the white excess, and laminate for long lasting use! I also cut out the individual stars so I could put velcro on the "I am working for" board and have the students place their own stars when completing an activity/assignment.
