This Unit Plan covers 100 years of the African American Civil Rights Movement from 1865 to 1968. The main academic source for this unit is the documentary "America in the 20th Century- Civil Rights". From this free documentary, I've created hook activities, 70 guided questions, and a short assessment after completion. I've used this same unit in my classroom for over 5 years with great success.
