Introduction Activity for the DBQ - APUSH, AP Euro, AP World
This activity introduces students to the Document Based Question (DBQ), the most challenging aspect of the AP History Exams. I utilize the 1986 APUSH DBQ (which is linked in the document) but you can use any DBQ with this activity. Students will watch a series of videos and complete a series of scaffolded steps which help them to understand what the DBQ is, and what it isn't.
