Introduction to Characterization
All necessary materials needed to introduce (or review) the four methods of characterization are provided. Start with guided notes. Then have students demonstrate comprehension of the material by completing the concept map. An optional Character Analysis homework assignment is provided for students to apply their learning. This is an ActivInspire presentation of notes for the eight elements of fiction and the five parts of a story's plot, each using graphic organizers. Notes may be printed or copied by students as needed.
