Notes Evaluation (Grows & Glows Activity)
I created this lesson for students because I wanted them to visually see the different levels of taking notes. This file includes a t-chart for students to either work individually or with a partner to evaluate 5 sets of actual student notes to see what notes are and are not supposed to look like. There is also a section for student self reflection after the activity. Teacher can then lead a class discussion afterwards to elicit student responses.

Interactive Notebook Quarter Sheet Grading Form
Interactive Notebooks are great! However, grading can often be time consuming and painful. I used to lug crates of them home to grade and would spend anywhere from 3-5 minutes on each one providing feedback. I found myself marking the same errors and making the same comments.
