NO PREP. In this class or individual activity, students will watch a Vox video about the history of the island of Hispañola. Students will learn about the different treatment of the colonial powers and explain some of the recent racist policies. The video is in English (some parts in Spanish or Haitian Creole with English subtitles). The questions are in Spanish and English. This prompted a vibrant class discussion.
