Students will be given a set of cards with linear equations on them. Students will have to sort them based on whether the two lines are parallel, perpendicular, or neither. Some of the lines need to be solved for y. Once the are sorted, students will flip them over and do the word scramble. Each group represents one word. After unscrambling the words, they will fill in the blanks to a quote.

These are self created cards I used for a speed dating activity in the classroom. Print the worksheet and each question has the answer in the adjacent box. I would cut the cards and fold them over so one side had the question, the other had the answer.
