In these high-interest, engaging problems, students analyze functions represented in different ways (tables, equations, and graphs). They compare the rates of change, initial values, and connect each back to the context of the problem. At the end of some of the problems, students are challenged to create their own function or determine the point where the functions intersect, which is great preparation for solving systems (8.EE.8).
