A mini-lesson covering how to find limits using tables and graphs. Have the students picture that they are going on a hike...your friend started without you because you were late but has agreed to turn around and meet up with you at a specified place. Relate this to approaching a limit, while also covering that regardless whether your meeting place actually exists (i.e. a hole), a limit refers to simply appraching a pt.

Feel free to let me know if you'd like to see more or less of something in the lesson! This lesson assumes students know how to take basic limits and derivatives using various shortcuts and rules (no epsilon-delta limits or definition of the derivative necessary).
