Freeze Game to Franz Haydn
I took a classical song, written by Franz Haydn(1732-1809) and turned it into a wonderful game about sound and silence! Children will tip-toe,wiggle, jump and gallop to the beautiful music and then FREEZE! on the silences. Great way to teach them about rests. You can also use it to teach form as each new section has a different movement as well as instrumentation.

I've used it in the past after an introduction to inferences. My advice is to parse the song into phrases and ask the class to examine their meaning.
