Summer "Short" Story (Narrative Writing)
This activity is to designed for students to write about their summer vacations. I use it as a first day/week activity to get students writing. The Tell-Tale Heart Movie Poster Assignment
This is a fun rainy day or in my case-- snow day activity that I might use as a cumulative wrap-up or if I have a lot of students absent. Students create a movie poster based on Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Tell-Tale Heart".
