I searched high and low for a basic, close reading test that would simply show me whether students did their outside-of-class reading of FAHRENHEIT 451, and I found that none existed that met my needs (detailed + easy to grade). Lined Writing Paper + Drawing Boxes with Starting Point Indications
39 lined paper pages with varying sizes of drawing boxes. Pages have a space for a name and date (it also includes some without these). Different pages feature dotted lines for writing, non-dotted but empty space lines, and just plain lines. Some pages include arrows that indicate where on the line students should begin their writing. You can scaffold as you teach children handwriting using these different types of lines and starting point indication arrows, fading those supports as needed.
