Then any children that had a hard time transitioning to school, had a hard time making positive choices during the day, missing their family members. The children can take down their picture anytime throughout the day when they are feeling better.

This is a song written to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. It is a song that explains what a bully is and that winners are not bullies. We sing this song at our school weekly, substituting our mascot (Broncos) in place of winners, thus becoming Broncos are not Bullies. You could do that for your school mascot also. This song is fun to sing and promotes respect.

The song was written as a fun listening exercise. The students need to focus on the directions and it gives them a chance to move their bodies. The song has been used from grades K-7 (however, the older students liked it for the novelty). With a discussion about the expectations, some clarification with some movements, and guidelines that fit your class, the song can break up a long day.
