The alternate ending makes it kind of fun to use for first year kindergarten teachers and is unexpected when read aloud. It has 6 stanzas that can be divided up to be said/read separately, or chorally. Very loved poem by the parents at our graduations!!! And when the kids shout “ME!” at the end, the audience loves it!This also works as a poe

This Social Story is designed to introduce the First…Then concept to students. It illustrates that students have to meet expectations, in order to earn choices and rewards.
