Description
Kindergarten graduation is such an exciting time in a child's life. This poem is great to use as a performance with multiple children or whole classes. The alternate ending makes it kind of fun to use for first year kindergarten teachers and is unexpected when read aloud. It has 6 stanzas that can be divided up to be said/read separately, or chorally. Very loved poem by the parents at our graduations!!! And when the kids shout “ME!” at the end, the audience loves it!
This also works as a poem to include in a printed program for parents to take home and keep as a memento.
