A mini research project for students learning about the animals in French. It is best suited to grade 4 core French. The teacher assigns each student an animal and they use this as a guide to research their project. Their final project can be a write up or an image of the animal with the information presented around it - I left that open to the teacher to decide.

AP French Cultural Comparison Research & Multimedia Project
After assessing students' comfortability with various AP French contexts using a Google Form, I had students sign up for a topic that the class as a whole felt less confident about being able to compare.
I encouraged them to start their research by looking for current events that relate to their topic by exploring Francophone news websites such as France 24, Le Monde, TV5Monde, Jeune Afrique, Radio-Canada, etc.
After exploring and taking some notes, students had to choose a particular Franco
