Genetic Disorder & Karyotype Research Project
Make genetics fun!!! In this dry lab students will complete a “normal” karyotype as well as an "abnormal" karyotype. Upon completing the karyotype and studying the chromosomes they will determine gender and diagnose a genetic disorder. Cut and paste a fairly detailed skeleton. Nearly all 2nd graders and beyond (perhaps earlier for advanced students) can follow the simple numbered instructions for putting these bones together.
