Quick and easy game to reinforce Absolute Value. All you need is a deck of playing cards!
Black is positive; red is negative.
 Using a deck of playing cards, with Face Cards and Aces
removed, divide the deck between both players.

My students LOVE this game! They beg to play it and are sad if we run out of time. It not only gives them great practice, it helps with their fluency! Use as stations, small groups, or an indoor recess game!

Students color in the quilt design and determine the fraction of each square that is colored in their favorite color. They fill out their bingo card with the fractions in simplified form and play bingo -- the teacher calls out fractions in simplified and non-simplified form and the student can match one square per call with either the simplified or an equivalent form.
