Book Bingo Board

This bingo board could be used for middle or high school students and promotes reading outside of their "normal" genre. It would be appropriate for an English class assignment, extra credit, or library promotion program. I use this board for our "Varsity Library" Program. Students receive prizes if they complete bingo, and we welcome faculty to participate as well. They must submit a Flip video review for each book read.

Reading Minutes Thermometer

This supercute reading minutes thermometer is a great tracker for how many minutes students read independently! The size of the file is 18x36 (if you need a different size you may contact me with a specific size) and it is a great visual to have in class. I use it in my second grade classroom to encourage students to read independently for the full allotted time and stive to get higher on the thermometer!

Our library is genrefied. We have 14 genre sections: Dystopian, Science Fiction, Mystery, Thriller, Fantasy, Supernatural, Sports, Historical, Holocaust, Survival, Realistic, Mythology, Romance, and Fairy Tales. My students constantly ask, "Where's the fiction?" So I created this puzzle to help them sort the genres into Fiction or Nonfiction. I print it on cardstock as it holds up better, and I like to color the different puzzle pieces.
