Women's Suffrage Mini Lesson
Students will read an overview of suffrage and women's fight to get the right to vote, culminating in the 19th Amendment. There are 9 opinion and discussion questions throughout the text. The 10th question is a small research activity about the road to the vote for women around the world and the final part of the resource is a creative task. Websites are provided as starting points, as well as a 60 second video and an article on the NWP, NAWSA, and African American women's fight for suffrage.
