Main Idea Chop Suey - Choose and Cite
This packet is a great packet to review main idea. Included in the packet are 8 sets of 4 sentences, one of which is the main idea. Once the main idea is found, have students cite evidence and defend why they chose the sentence as the main idea. This is a very fun SmartBoard activity to use as an assessment or a review on the poem, The Gardener.
