I have over 20 years experience. Most of my experience was at an elementary level as a special education teacher in all subject areas. For over 10 years I have also taught preservice teachers at the university level. For the last four year I have taught geometry through construction at the high school level. This has been the highlight of my career. Being able to introduce young people to the trades and teach them to build things with their hands and minds while exposing them to the wonders of geometry has been amazing! I hope to share all of that with you!

Help everyone... teachers, parents, and students. Students with exceptional needs require exceptional teaching... unfortunately, our colleges are not always preparing classroom teachers for the diverse needs they will encounter. Additionally, career tech has not always been viewed the same as a regular classroom but it is! I design my lessons and curriculum to be both fun and educational.

Undergrad, Masters, and Education Specialist degree in Collaborative education, certification as a reading specialist and nationally board certified.

I teach various special education classes at the University of Alabama, Birmingham as an adjunct. Full time, I work for a school in Titusville (s suburb of Birmingham) Alabama as a construction teacher and geometry instructor, combining the two to make learning an amazing experience.
