I am an artist and art teacher with 12 years of experience teaching art to grades K-8.
I teach my students how to use and master a variety of materials and techniques, and I give them the freedom to develop the skills I have taught them. I aim to inspire my students through the various artists, movements, cultures, and styles of art that I expose them to. I present my students with the information and guidance that can help them express themselves creatively and effectively.
Yet to be added
I received my B.F.A. in Art Education in 2007 and my M.A.T. in Art in 2016.
In my personal artwork, I enjoy painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, jewelry making, and mixed media. In addition to art making, I also like gardening, camping, and going for walks with my dog. I love to travel with my husband, who has joyfully accompanied me to art museums around the world - we visited seven art museums in Paris alone! We have two young kids that are already becoming little artists themselves.
